Convenience is my gawd-given right as an American! Making the empty gesture of with-holding the pittance of East Harwich profit they make from me doesn't so much make me "feel good". More like giving them that pittance of profit makes me feel bad. It be just a drop in the bucket, but it takes all those single drops to fill the bucket. I don't have the heart of an activist. I have neither the outrage nor the resources to investigate far-flung claims of society's evils. There is SO much one could be outraged about, and focused on, and lead crusades against. I don't have the energy to maintain outrage. I don't wisdom in battling agression with agression. I'd rather make a difference in my own life and circle of friends and family. Granted, it makes my circle of influence very small, but I don't feel the need to have big influence. What small influence I have is passed to others and hopefully they, in turn, pass it on to others. I could do better, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I don't where I'm leading a for the rest of the forum to boycott Red Stripe Beer. It's just a personal decision. I'll probably lose or forget interest eventually or have periodic lapses anyway. Just like I occasionally just can't help but order Swordfish (which, at one time, was dangerously close to being over-fished). he's cheating. Terrible as it might sound, because its more a reflection of my thought process, I suppose. But the more I read, I began to wonder if he's depressed. I also began to wonder at his age. The reason is, as men get older they begin to produce less testosterone. Its natural and normal. But the side-effects (if the levels decrease too low) are depression, lower sex drive, "grumpiness" or aggitation, weight gain, hair loss things that most people would consider 'just growing older.'
